REVISED PETROL PRICES AND NEW ELECTRICITY PRICES IN NIGERIA

(January 2012) Higher petrol and electricity prices in Nigeria will mean problems with water supply and electricity provision.  This will have have a detrimental effect on health, education, employment and the economy. By using freely available wind to power technology, we can dramatically and sustainably reverse this negative cycle. We are continually seeking out new innovations and designing new solutions that we believe will help to improve lives and shape the future of sub-Saharan Africa.

KANO STATE STARTS DISCUSSIONS TO REPLACE WINDMILLS

Kano state is in discussion with NEW ERA to replace or renew its
portfolio of windmills across the state. Over the years these machines
have fallen into disrepair and now will be replaced so as to once again
provide water to the people of Kano State.
